Tutorial - folding card.

I have got a lot of questions about my last card, so today I have made a tutorial. This card folding is not my idea, I have seen a lot of cards like this in many different blogs, but I have never seen a tutorial, so here is my way to make this card.

You need a 6” * 11 ¾” cardstock, and patterned paper.

All the papers I have used are from Pion Design, from the collections For Father, and For Mother.

Score the cardstock at: 3 ¼” – 5” – 6 ¾” – 8 ½”

Fold it like this.

Find a shape you want to use, cut the patterned paper, and glue it to the wings on your card. I have used a circle shape this time.

Now just follow the shape, and cut the cardstock by hand.

Here I have decorated all the areas with papers from Pion Design.

Now my card is ready to get decorated. I have stamped a text from North Star Stamps on paper from Pion Design, and framed it with die cuts from Spellbinders. I have used the same paper and frame for the wings, and added a lot of pearls.

Et brettekort til jubilanten.

Jeg har et nytt brettekort å by på i dag. Vet ikke hva denne bretteteknikken heter, men disse kortene er veldig morsomme å lage. Motivet har jeg kjøpt hos Digital Paper, en liten skattekiste av vintage go`biter:) Teksten er fra Storyteller, og papirene er fra Maja Designs nyeste kolleksjon.

Her har jeg tatt bilde ovenfra, så det er lettere å se hvordan kortet er brettet.

Sånn ser kortet ut når det er brettet sammen.

  

Her har jeg laget skrivefelt på baksiden av kortet.

Sketchy Colors utfordring - Sugar Nellie

The last “Country Cousin” image is called ”Skool Days” and I think maybe she is my favorite. I fell in love with her right away :) I have made a bag card, colored the image with Copics, and framed her with a dies from Marianne Design. The papers are from Linda Design, a Norwegian designer, and I have used a cute text, flowers and leafs for decorations.

Staffelieske - Pion Design

I dag har jeg en gaveeske å vise frem. Jeg har laget en konfirmant eske med skuff, og et staffelikort på toppen. Jeg har brukt de nydelige små papirene fra Pion Design kolleksjonen Till Mor – 6”’*6”. Rosepapiret finnes på arket Morsdagsros, Stripepapiret er på arket Dukade fikabord, og den søte borden finnes på arket Blombukett. Motivet jeg har brukt er fra Sweet Pea, og jeg har fargelagt med Promarkers.

I have made a criss cross card with a tag. I wanted to make a warm and cozy card with this cute image, and I have used warm red and beige colors. For the coloring I have used my Copics, and the frame is a dies from Marianne Design. I have decorated the card with laces diecuts, flowers and buttons.
